I was raised in Deland and I'm also a proud alumni of Deland High School, home of the Bulldogs. I began my career as a Deputy Clerk at the Volusia County Clerk of Court in 2007. The majority of my career was in the Family Law Division. In addition to Family Law, I also spent three years in both Juvenile Dependency and Juvenile Delinquency Divisions and two years in Child Support. I possess extensive procedural knowledge and have a great familiarity with the required forms in these departments. I left the Courthouse in 2018 to work as a Paralegal & Office Manager for a private attorney whose practice was completely dedicated to child support. Throughout my career as a Court Operations Clerk and ultimately a paralegal, I witnessed the frustration of clients who were either unable to afford an attorney or were overwhelmed attempting to complete the necessary forms on their own. It has always been a dream of mine to help these people. This is my opportunity to fulfill that dream.
